Community Work on Sunday, April 9

The monastic community is working morning and afternoon to take apart four monastic kutis (huts) in the Abhayagiri forest so that replacement kutis can be built. Please feel free to join us for any or all of this community work day. The main task will be carrying the debris away from the kuti sites to the disposal areas. Sturdy boots are highly recommended.

Schedule for the Community Work Day
7am - 7:30am - light breakfast
7:30am - work meeting
8am - 10:30am work period
11am - meal offering
12:45pm or whenever ready - afternoon work period
4:30pm - clean-up

After clean-up there will be tea time. During tea time, there will be the opportunity for question and answer and informal conversation with a senior monk in the Monks Dining Hall.

You are welcome to join us for any part of the day including breakfast, the meal and tea time. There is no need to register in advance.
